Aman –
Sweet gourmand fragrance for teen and college boys of 80s & 90s. Not today’s trend of “babygirl men” and the aroma chemicals in today’s scents, which even when syrupy sweet tend to have some crystalline support and uplift. Everything is so zhuzhed up nowadays.
SPARK is a true gourmand – vanilla cream most predominant – vaguely mocha caramel. It’s rather odd to smell today. Not unpleasant by the mid point as some of the more subtle notes come into play.
“Natural” and homey so let’s say proto-cottagecore. They certainly don’t make new scents like this. I’m surprised this is still in production. Nowadays a 20 year old will go for GOOD MORNING , which is supposed to be a gourmand cozy fragrance but is so dynamic and jazzy compared to a humble profile such as SPARK.
